Job Description
As a UX Research Assistant, you will help a variety of customers get the most out of the UserTesting platform and ensure they gain meaningful insights out of their studies. Most interactions will be via chat or email. Our clients work in E-commerce, Gaming, Education, Health, Non-profit, and B2B. You will also work with our UX researchers, designers, and product managers to plan, execute, and analyze qualitative research studies.
Between the in-house UX training, breadth of clients you will work with, and growth opportunities, you will quickly become an experienced UX professional!
Please note, this is a part-time role. We'd prefer someone who can periodically come into the Mountain View or San Francisco offices, but we are open to remote work.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in HCI, Human Factors, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, or related field (current undergraduates accepted)
* Experience studying user behavior and opinion through user testing, interviews, observation, surveys, or A/B testing
* Ability to analyze qualitative research data
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills
* Ability to type at least 50+ wpm
* Comfortable sending professional live chats and emails
* Ability to build rapport and inspire clients' trust in our company, team, and tools
* Enjoys working independently, but plays well with others
* A natural aptitude for technology; the ability to quickly learn new technologies and troubleshoot them independently
