Senior Product Marketing Manager, Customer Experience
Job Description
Reports to: VP Product Marketing
Location: Lehi, UT or Remote U.S.
The Senior Product Marketing Manager for Customer Experience - including Professional Services, Education, Support and Customer Success - will lead Workfront's efforts to establish our customer experience as a strategic differentiator in a fast-growing and competitive marketplace. This position reports to the VP of Product Marketing and leads all aspects of the marketing strategy to help our customers become insanely successful by maximizing the value they get from Workfront.
This a highly visible, strategic role on a critical team within Workfront. In this role, you will work closely with the EVP of Customer Experience and be instrumental in developing the positioning, messaging, and content that will enable adjacent teams within Workfront to drive market growth. You will lead efforts for: conducting research, crafting value propositions, developing and refining messaging, and producing content and enablement support for marketing, sales, and partner teams. Your work will be showcased throughout the buyer journey across multiple touch points. You will regularly engage with Workfront team members at all levels. Your contribution will be vital to Workfront's overall solution positioning and market success.
We're searching for someone that is smart, curious, collaborative, and able to easily scale from strategy to execution. You're great at connecting the big picture into plans and strategies that meet business goals. You are a fantastic storyteller, and you are energized by customer interaction. Ideally, you've had experience marketing professional services at a consulting firm, large enterprise software vendor, or an enterprise SaaS vendor. You get things done, and you do it right – meaning you live and reflect Workfront's company values (Do Great Work, Finish Strong, Customer Obsession, and Win Together). You make others around you great and are able to achieve goals with minimal supervision in a high-performing, fast-moving environment.
This position is remote or in Lehi, Utah.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and lead the execution for the go-to-market plans to achieve business goals for Workfront Customer Experience offerings
* Serve as a Customer Experience subject matter expert in PR and analyst engagements, customer marketing engagements, and other communications platforms
* Understand the market and competitive landscape, buyers and the customer journey, and be strong customer advocate in all interactions within Workfront
* Develop value propositions and clear and concise positioning and messaging
* Work closely with the Customer Experience management, product marketing, product management, integrated campaigns, corporate communications, sales, partners, and customer success teams to increase adoption and renewal of Workfront products
* Leverage packaging and pricing to achieve customer retention and adoption goals
* Collaborate with Customer Experience and Value Engineering teams to develop high-impact positioning
* Develop sales tools including white papers, presentations, collateral, website material, and videos in the voice of the customer
Skills and Experience
* BA/BS degree in business management, strategy, economics, marketing, communications; MBA preferred
* 5-10 years of related experience in management consulting, professional services, enterprise SaaS product management or product marketing strongly preferred
* Skilled at creating positioning & messaging, content, sales enablement material, and marketing communications within enterprise SaaS markets
* Experience engaging with press and analysts
* Excellent abilities in storytelling, presenting, writing, research and quantitative analysis
* Ability to engage in constructive debate, collaboration with many stakeholders, and articulate direction to a wide audience including executives, team leaders, and individual contributors
* Proven success in delivering high quality outcomes in situations lacking complete information
* High intellectual curiosity and emotional intelligence required
