Graphic Designer
Outbrain is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our growing global design team. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between our internal sales, product and marketing teams - helping to bring their ideas to life with bold, clean, innovative and on-brand design.
The right candidate will be a creative, out of the box thinker with a marketing mind. Your key responsibility will be developing sales marketing and event collateral.
Designers at Outbrain are process-driven independent thinkers who also value collaboration with teammates, marketers, and other internal stakeholders to execute smart visual solutions. Successful members of our team have the ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines while maintaining creative focus, quality of work, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Essential Design Responsibilities:
- Understand and apply our brand guidelines
- Follow team processes and protocols
- Contribute to the ideation and creation of marketing ideas and activities
- Work from creative briefs and see projects through from concept to completion
- Create presentations, sell sheets, ebooks, infographics and various other types of sales marketing materials
- Create digital materials such as landing pages, web ads, and email campaigns (front-end only)
- Design collateral for events such as invites/evites, RSVP landing pages, booth design, and signage, printed documents and booklets and swag
- Support/assist your Design teammates as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Bring an enthusiasm for design, attention to detail and a positive attitude into every project
- A strong online portfolio demonstrating a proficiency in print and digital mediums, a passion for good typography, and a knack for illustration
- 3+ years of full-time, professional design work
- Fluency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and presentation design (PowerPoint / Word)
- Experience preparing files for print
- Consistent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- A great collaborator -- good track record of interfacing and communicating with other internal teams
- Experience working with project management software (like Basecamp, Trello, asana, Monday, and the like)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience/interest in motion graphics and knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a plus
- Experience with landing page builders such as Unbounce and Splash a plus
This role can be based in one of our US offices (NY or Chicago) or work remotely if the candidate has a proven track record of working remotely.
