NTT DATA Services currently seeks a F5 Network Engineer to join our team in the United States (US).
The F5 Network Engineer will work with a fast-paced global leader in IT Services, helping to ensure our client's IT datacenter disruptions are quickly and efficiently resolved.
* This is a virtual/remote U.S.-based role (preferred time zone CST or EST) which requires the ability to participate in an on call rotation schedule with other team members (typically once every two months).
Responsibilities:
* Manage load balancing in a large scale, complex, enterprise datacenter environment
* Develop action plans to investigate and resolve complex issues/problems and clearly communicate these to engineers, customers and/or relevant managers
* Overcome obstacles and drive work efforts to successful completion, achieving the intended result without any adverse impact to the production environment
* Identify and contribute to projects to improve product support, customer satisfaction and team efficiency
Basic Requirements:
* Undergraduate degree and 5+ years relevant network troubleshooting experience in an enterprise environment experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
* Strong understanding of F5 GTM's & LTM's & management of external DNS setup
* Experience with Riverbed, Juniper SSL VPN & Checkpoint Firewalls
* Experience in Network troubleshooting including service and support on networking products such as routers, switches, wireless controllers, firewalls, etc.
* Good understanding and troubleshooting of Routing and routed protocols: IP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc.
Preferences:
* Experience with Checkpoint Firewalls
* Experience working in IT Outsourcing and Managed Services organization
* Service and support on networking products such as routers, switches, wireless controllers, firewalls etc.
