Description
Infoblox is seeing a Community and Product Marketing Manager to join our Product Marketing team in Tacoma, WA. The position can also be remote based. You will have overall responsibility for all aspects of the Infoblox community and product marketing for Infoblox services. You will be the advocate for Infoblox on our community site, and will create content, respond to comments, answer questions, community persona and actively reach out to customers within the online community. You will be dealing with customers, prospects, and influencers to boost awareness of the company, and establish a relationship with them. You will be responsible for driving internal engagement to ensure that our support specialists and subject matter experts engage, respond to inquiries and provide thought leadership content that can be shared through the community. You will also have the responsibility of defining the role of community in the world where Infoblox delivers cloud based security and networking solutions.
In this role you will have the opportunity to expand your skills and be the product marketing lead for some of Infoblox’s service offerings that include Professional Services and specialized support packages.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of a community strategy coupled with an execution plan that aligns with Infoblox go-to-market prioirites
Manage program budgets and implementation teams
Conceive and implement programs to grow the Infoblox user community reach
Respond to and help customers or identify resources within the company to respond to community queries in a timely manner
Write or curate content, with engaging text, images and video content multi-platform use
Build visibility and credibility by attending and moderating forums
Engage with and build relationships with customers, potential customers, key influencers, analysts and journalists relevant to Infoblox
Analyze community performance, listen to relevant conversations, provide insight to the company and lead improvements based on performance, online reviews and feedback
Optimize content to maximize traffic into community
Analyze digital trends data to better understand customer buying behavior, content consumption and engagement
Analyze Infoblox data to identify key market trends, customer behavior and buying habits
Drive development of thought leadership content to create engagement with press, media and analysts
Liaise with marketing, product marketing, product management, support and sales to stay updated on new products and initiatives
Evangelize the Infoblox Community inside and outside of Infoblox
Requirements:
10+ years of experience and successful management of technical, B2B user communities and / or other customer programs
Proven experience as a community and / or social media manager
Experience managing community initiatives, online forums, creating events and newsletters
Hands on experience with social media and / or community
Demonstrated knowledge of key trends in user communities
Demonstrated experience in conceiving and implementing campaigns to grow community
Highly motivated and exhibits a high degree of independence, initiative and focus on quality
Organizes, prioritizes and manages multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
Works effectively with global teams and demonstrates the ability to engage and lead/influence others with an adaptable style, while still achieving business goals and objectives
Analytical skills to identify, track and develop insights from community metrics
Excellent background in data analytics and demand analysis
A flair for creativity and demonstrated ability to create ideas
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented and meticulous in execution
Working experience with Lithium or equivalent platform
Experience in security and networking industries is a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field
Knowledge of digital marketing a plus
