It is an exciting time to join the Jiffy Lube organization of Shell. Already the national leader in the quick lube industry, Jiffy Lube is in a new phase of growth by adding new stores, new services, and premium products. The Area Marketing Manager is responsible for helping Jiffy Lube franchisees develop strategic local marketing plans that deliver on their business objectives, while leveraging the national marketing tools, programs, and plans.
* Serve as marketing focal point for franchisees and Jiffy Lube Operations team in assigned Area
* Liaise between Houston-based marketing team and franchisees to facilitate knowledge, understanding, and implementation of national marketing tools
* Direct responsibility for franchise entities of varying size, including Key Accounts and Co-ops
* Develop strategic marketing plans with franchisees to deliver commercial goals, including volume, car count, and market share
* Lead and educate the franchisees and field operations team on marketing objectives, activities, goals, and resources
* Direct franchisees to create marketing strategies that improve customer retention, drive specialty oil mix and build households to deliver long term, sustainable customer count growth
* Sell-in and assist with implementation of corporate marketing initiatives
* Consult and coach franchisees and local agencies to enhance marketing effectiveness by creating an integrated marketing program rooted in strategic planning, with measurable goals, that delivers on business objectives
* Develop strong working relationships with franchisees and become a vital, strategic advisor to their business
* Equip franchisees with the knowledge and tools they need to properly guide their marketing strategies and measure results
* Develop and deliver data-driven recommendations that drive continuous improvement and fast change
* Review local creative and marketing activities to ensure compliance with brand standards
* Lead and participate in franchisee business reviews and Co-op meetings
* Attend and participate in events including, but not limited to, Convention, Regional Meetings, Marketing team meetings, etc.
