UI/UX DESIGN LEAD

JOB SUMMARY
Camping World's sales automation efforts have greatly increased over the past several years, including the adoption of Salesforce Sales Cloud. The User Experience Strategy & Digital Design Lead role will be the first UX specialized SalesForce team member that will have the opportunity to expand into multiple areas of the Camping World business. With the pace in which Camping World is growing, your ability to influence the strategy and design of the overall digital effort will be immense.
Our User Experience Strategy & Digital Design Lead will be responsible for creating best-in-class user experiences and help provide strategic direction for all aspects of the digital user experience across the Camping World Salesforce Development team. This role will work across both development teams and collaborate with the product managers and multiple other lines of business to understand objectives, user goals, customer targets, technical platforms, and capabilities, and then will translate these into an overarching user experience strategy and framework and then execute the UX design.
This is mainly a hands-on UX Design role working with business to define best UX and then work with developers to implement the designs. This role will not only be responsible to produce design work, but will also provide guidance to other digital product design and UX members of the team. This includes, but is not limited to, web developers, content management, product technology teams, etc.
* Work daily with Camping World development teams and contract resources to create and drive a digital User Experience strategy.
* Create effective designs incorporating customer-centric approaches in Salesforce Sales Cloud and application platforms. Customers are primarily Camping World RV Sales business leaders and Sales staff.
* Conduct interviews and lead focus groups to identify best UX approaches.
* Work in hands-on development and drive deployment of digital solutions and assets:
o Create user flow charts
o Wireframe intuitive user interfaces
o Iterate or design concepts to continually improve user interface
o Introduces, evangelizes and educates the business about customer-centric approaches, and works to align those approaches with evolving business strategy
o Provides input on digital product development approaches and processes such as Lean UX and Agile to help drive customer-centered digital solutions
o Assist in the collaboration across departments to improve end-to-end experience users have with the company and its products
o Establishes metrics and curates and analyzes research data about the customer from various departments to help better inform the business about the customer when making key digital design decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, IT or relevant field or equivalent experience.
* Prefer 3+ years experience creating user-centric design for mobile and web platforms.
* Prefer strong background in mobile design including Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design.
* Should have a fairly deep understanding of mobile technologies across different devices and operating systems.
* Proficient in Sketch design tool.
* Familiar with Salesforce Lightning design system / framework / web components, JavaScript, and other web UI development platforms.
* Experience with HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Salesforce Lightning User interface (JavaScript-based) all preferred.
* Experience with User Centered design preferred.
* Experience with UAT and usability testing preferred.
* Experience evangelizing UX with senior stakeholders preferred.
* Create and maintain UX architecture deliverables including user scenarios, task flow diagrams, customer journeys, sitemaps / navigation schemes / taxonomies, wireframes, interaction outline/specs and content guidelines.
* Must be an active listener with the ability to ask the right questions and pinpoint user needs.
* Selected candidate will be absolutely relentless in the pursuit of excellence.
