At TripScout, we're global travel enthusiasts that are changing the way people plan their trips and experience new cities around the world. For the past two years, we've scaled our mobile travel guides to over 90 cities on six continents winning praise from Apple, Conde Nast, Travel & Leisure, Forbes, American Airlines, and others in the travel industry. Our strategy is simple; we learn from our customers and relentlessly focus on building great experiences for our fellow traveler. We're ramping up to aggressively scale our product in 2018, and are looking for a travel-obsessed Product/UX Designer to play a key role in our growth.
The ideal candidate has passion for travel that can personally identify with the problems we are solving. We look for people that can think both large and small, shaping the entirety of a user experience while still capable of getting deep into the weeds of micro-interaction design. This role is a true design-forward role but will contribute broadly, including prototyping (all levels of fidelity), usability testing, visual/interaction design, requirements development, and liaising with our engineering team on implementation. Expertise with mobile apps is a must, bonus points for cross-platform experiences.
We are a 100% remote team open to different arrangements (freelance, part-time, full-time), and we put a lot of time and energy into finding people that are the right fit for us. We prefer digital nomads engaged in long-term travel with a history of successful remote work. Please apply and include links to relevant portfolio pieces that show experience with mobile applications, consumer experiences, or travel.
