Role Outline:

Amplified Digital is looking for a UI/UX Designer who is strategic, articulate and extremely organized, as well as a team player who collaborates with our Creative Designers, Developers, Analysts, Content Writers, Planners/Strategists, Project Managers, Success Managers, Clients, and third party partners. The UI/UX designer sets the stage for our clients' end-user experiences across multiple platforms and devices. This person will be driven by finding out how and why people use websites, how they interact with content, and how to lead the customer to conversion.
Amplified's UI/UX Designer will create cohesive website and mobile application designs utilizing input from both the client and internal teams, while following industry best practices on layout, user-flow, goal conversion opportunities, content organization, and design. The UI/UX Designer will also partner with Content team and the client to finesse language and messaging points for websites, to produce high-fidelity visual design for positive customer experiences.

Core Responsibilities Include:

UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphical mock ups and elements, and building navigation components to create both functional and appealing websites that address our clients' needs and challenges, while helping Amplified grow our large/complex website customer base.
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with clients, sales teams, strategists/planners, product managers and developers
Conduct competitive analyses of client websites, as well as those operating in the same industry space, competitors, and client recommendations/samples
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of website conversion actions and conversion optimization tactics
Prepare website project UI/UX analyses based on target demographics and goal conversion opportunities
Develop website and application mockup designs for client projects, illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps. These designs should:
Clearly illustrate how the site functions and flows for the end-user
Adhere to client's brand standards (use of fonts, colors and images)
Communicate the client's unique value proposition clearly
Be original (not copy other sites, layouts and wireframes)
Utilize SEO Best Practices for content organization and structure
Be prepared and presented as rough drafts to internal teams, developers and key stakeholders for initial feedback - ensuring that:
Designs meet client requirements, and industry standards and best practices
Designs fit within developmental capabilities and scope
Content and user experiences, such as navigation, page routing, product/service page design and more meet both client/brand and SEO best practices
Undergo layout adjustments based on both client and internal feedback
Be completed within strict timelines
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
Participate in creating content development strategies when applicable
Participate in client meetings, team meetings, scope / internal strategy meetings as necessary

Qualifications:

BS in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
Knowledge of wireframe tools
Proficient knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and WordPress CMS experience
Basic Search Engine Optimization knowledge
Team spirit; great collaborator with strong communication skills to work as a team with various stake holders
Excellent communications skills: verbal, presentation, written
Excellent time-management and organization skills
Experience with PM tools or similar ones such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Slack, or Bootcamp
Ability to manage multiple high volume projects and adhere to strict deadlines
