Squaremouth is looking for a remote Insurance Sales Manager to join our growing sales team. Squaremouth is a leader in the travel insurance industry, establishing a reputation for our unique culture, business growth and exceptional service over the past 16 years. We take an unconventional approach within the travel insurance industry, with every aspect of our business centered around innovation. One of Squaremouth's top initiatives in 2019 is to grow our current affiliate program by developing partner relationships within the travel industry, including travel agencies, tour providers, and booking sites, to offer our insurance products to their client base. We are looking for a remote Outside Sales Manager to develop a sales pipeline, identify and qualify opportunities, and establish contact with decision makers. The position is a mixture of sales outreach and account management. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining communication with existing partners, including offering assistance and account upkeep. The ideal candidate will have experience in the insurance industry, travel insurance specifically being a plus. They will work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to identify qualified leads and develop partnerships with businesses. They should be extremely self-motivated, with the ability to set their own goals and report on their success. This is a new position with the opportunity for fast growth, and the ability to create their own path. This is a remote position that will require a motivated individual who can thrive without micromanagement. Responsibilities Determine target markets Research, prospect, and qualify sales leads Establish initial contact with identified leads, utilizing email, phone and other marketing outreach Utilize creative and out-of-the-box sales techniques to acquire interest Account management and upkeep Establish and maintain relationships with qualified leads and clients Manage ongoing communications with clients in a timely manner Provide exceptional customer service to all partners Develop keen understanding of the travel insurance industry, our products and unique selling proposition Utilize CRM to manage opportunities, schedule communications and report outcomes Qualifications Must hold an active insurance license with travel line of authority or equivalent Self-motivated individual At least 2 years of experience that demonstrates sales acumen Experience in travel insurance sales a plus Keen understanding of insurance sales and products Multi-tasker with thorough follow-through Professional-level written and verbal communication skills Experience utilizing Salesforce Experience using G Suite, specifically Gmail, Drive and Calendar
