POSITION OVERVIEW

We seek a talented software developer to join our team. As a member of our R & D team, you will design and build cutting-edge software solutions that are integral to our next-generation instrumentation. You will also have critical responsibilities to creatively extend and interconnect existing internal business systems.

You’ll be able to take training courses or otherwise improve your skill set during normal business hours. Our developers have modern workstations and a modest budget to customize their workstations or purchase peripherals they require. We'd prefer candidates who can work at our Manchester, CT, offices, but we're open to exploring fit with you if you're a remotely-based candidate who has terrific communication, team, and organizational skills, with a disciplined spirit of accountability. Wherever you're based, we'll value your documentation skills, motivation and ability to deliver results on schedule.
REQUIREMENTS
- .dll development skills in C and C++ environment for deploying highly optimized and fast algorithms (64 bit target .dll).
- Strong skills with data visualization in Python
- Strong skills with Java and .NET development platforms for building distributed applications (cloud computing)
- Demonstrated ability to design network architectures, including local/wide area networks (LANs/WANs) and intranet
- Demonstrated ability to maintain servers
- Ability to select and integrate network and server security tools
- Strong skills with deploying MATLAB code as .NET applications or .dll targets
- Employment authorization to work in the United States, with no current or future requirement of sponsorship
