Job title: Social Media Specialist ?

?Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a consistent presence across all ACT social environments
- Developing monthly editorial calendars for each social environment, ensuring content is strategic and aligned with timely activity, including trade shows, product launches, key personnel announcements, Watermark events, programs, videos, content assets and third party news
- Scheduling editorial calendar posts via company's social publishing platform
- Actively reviewing and working in Workfront daily across all verticals as a key resource for editorial calendar content and timing
- Posting for trade shows in real-time, and/or posting one-off posts as information comes in from the field
- Creating suggested monthly posts for channel partners to share on their personal networks and/or business pages
- ?Engaging with followers by commenting, replying to direct messages, following them back (if appropriate), liking, etc.
- Triaging customer service questions by directing them to the appropriate SMEs, following-up both internally and with the inquirer, and responding in a timely manner
- Generating quarterly metrics reports for each social environment based on platform analytics; supplementing quarterly reports with other metrics (i.e., monthly metrics) based on individual need
- Working with our partner PR agency Branigan Communications, to ensure strategic campaigns, custom graphics, promoted content and social media advertising is aligned and accounted for in monthly planning
- Enforcing and following company?s social media protocol for negative comments/messages
?Writing ? understands AP Style; can write technically concisely; can adjust content tone by channel
?Ability to work independently ? a self-starter with healthy time management skills
?Resourceful ? enjoys mining for content by conducting his/her own research across company resources, and reaching out to??SMEs for more information
Curious ? about our products, brands, solutions and synergies; also has a desire to expand his/her knowledge of the ever-changing social media landscape
Ability to build and maintain relationships ? both with internal work partners and external audiences, including the media, customers and channel partners Communication ;proactively provides status updates to internal stakeholders, responds to feedback in a timely manner, uses both email and the phone to communicate
Social platform knowledge -understands key B2B social platforms/approaches and is comfortable with the four primary channels of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
?Accountability ? takes ownership of projects and outcomes; makes adjustments throughout the year to better serve internal clients
?Strategic ? makes recommendations for how to achieve better results; uses a solutions-oriented approach to problem solving
Experience & education:
- Degree in communications, English or related field, or equivalent
- 5-10 years? experience in marketing, communications, social media, public relations, public affairs, or editorial discipline
