Our client, a leading Health Care company is looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer. This is for an initial duration of 18 months and a 100% remote position
This is a remote position. Adherence to Pacific time zone required.
- You will be a part of the Software Test team and report to the Senior Manager, Test Engineering responsible.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Design/Architect Test Automation framework and develop Test Automation code using Python script and TestComplete for new and existing Microbiology Software
- Write Test Scenarios using Gherkin Language
- Build and maintain C/CD pipelines using Azure Devops integrated with TestComplete
- Add to and maintain tests in the existing Smoke Tests and Regression Tests Suites
- Provide improvements and enhancements to the existing Suite of Tests
- Identify Testing Best Practices and ensure good test coverage
- Assist Management with resource allocation and project planning tasks
- Provide leadership to drive improvements and build skillset within the Software Test team
- Train others and bring new testing knowledge to the team
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering with 5+ years programming experience or master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 3+ years programming experience
- 3+ years of experience testing Desktop Applications
- Demonstrated familiarity with Agile Scrum Methodologies
- Experience building continuous integration pipelines (CI/CD) using Azure Devops or Jenkins
- Experience building Test Automation Framework from ground up using TestComplete or similar
- C++, C# or Java Development experience
- Demonstrated team leadership ability, strong communication and collaboration skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- HP-ALM
- Human Factors / Usability
- Medical device software development under FDA and global regulation
