This role will be based in the United States, and we are open to remote work. We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Senior Account Manager with experience in the composites market and/or software industry. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for selling software licenses and related services to new prospects, and is also responsible for managing existing customer relations, including renewals and account growth opportunities. The ideal candidate has a history of successfully selling new products/technologies to large enterprises hitting sales quotas, loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market, and has the potential to grow into a sales leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales/business plans to achieve quarterly sales/business objectives
- Manage the sales cycle from a qualified lead to securing a deal
- Recognize customer business problems and drive/influence resources to address opportunities
- Create and implement account strategy, including developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers
- Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
- Act as a liaison between MultiMechanics and customers and develop a team selling approach with pre-sales technical specialists and the customer support organization
- Must be able to deliver value propositions to engineering management as well as VP and C-level business management
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
- Provide accurate and timely reports/forecasts
- Five plus years quota-carrying sales experience (Account Manager or other sales role)
- Strong prospecting, qualifying, closing and managing skills
- Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Goals-oriented, team player, ability to delegate to pre-sales and post-sales
- Travel required
- Experience working for a software or technology company
- Experience working in a 'start-up' environment
- Experience in the composites market
- Familiarity with general CAE/CAD software products
- Background/education in an engineering field
