Job Description
Position Title: Remote Cerner Application Support Analyst
Required Experience:
- Previous Cerner Millennium Analyst and/or Project Manager experience including build, testing, and implementation
- Knowledge of multiple Cerner clinical applications
- Five (5) years of information system development, implementation, and support
- Remote position
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide support for Cerner clinical applications.
- Determine scope of investigation required for system optimization, redesign, and implementation.
- Provide knowledge of clinical and patient activities related to application communication, verification, compliance, and documentation.
- Identify business and clinical issues through interaction with clinicians and end users.
- Collaborate with Clinical Analysts on current and future state workflows and documentation.
- Facilitate gap analysis and process redesign workshops within and between several hospital departments.
- Complete general system troubleshooting.
- Resolve reported system and application problems in test and production environments.
- Function as liaison and advocate to clinicians to ensure the system meets end user requirements.
- Evaluate, design, and develop testing plans and assist with testing system functionality and validation.
- Provide reports and performance of unit, functional, system, integration and regression testing.
- Manage quality auditing of project data and system build prior to conversions.
- Prepare written deliverables as defined in project scope.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team and prioritize scheduled tasks to maintain project scope.
- Maintain knowledge of security and data integrity of system.
- Manage resolution of project issues, escalating them to appropriate decision making staff and change control management team.
- Knowledge of one or more Cerner Solutions preferred.
