Cantor Colburn LLP , one of the largest full-service intellectual property law firms in the country, is currently seeking an experienced Patent Paralegal or Patent Administrative Assistant.
This full-time position will provide support for attorneys in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. This is a telecommuting opportunity! The successful candidate may work from home 100% of the time and may work a flexible schedule. Infrequent travel (1 -3 times per year) to the firm's Hartford, Connecticut office may be required for training and integration purposes.
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Preparing and proofing patent forms and documents

Electronic filing with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office

U.S. client relations
-
Time entry
-
Docket management
-
Calendaring
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred
-
5+ years of Intellectual Property experience
-
Prior experience successfully working remotely preferred

Strong attention to detail
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Solid time management skills
-
Ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
-
Ability to multitask
-
Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Word; Microsoft Outlook
