Overview
This is a remote position enabling you to work from your dedicated home office environment, developing and supporting the marketing programs of the company.
CampusGuard focuses primarily on information security protection needs of campus-based organizations including higher education institutions, healthcare providers, city, county and state government agencies and hospitality markets. All of our staff has experience working with the unique needs of these campus-based environments. We are a full service cybersecurity firm experienced in all industry leading information security standards, with a robust compliance offering including Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), the Health Information Privacy and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the Graham -Leach, Bliley Act (GLBA).
The Marketing Manager drives all marketing activities for the company's full-service cyber-security offerings. This includes market requirements and intelligence, helping define solutions for market leadership, developing content that engages, creating and promoting brand awareness, enabling sales, and empowering communities of interest.
Responsibilities
Activities include, but are not limited to the following:
Analyze markets and market requirements to identify high-potential segments, help define business drivers, customer needs, solutions, and establish competitive positioning for these.Build compelling content from this research and customer success into materials including the corporate website, e-books, videos, demos, webinars, conference booth layout, design and content, infographics, and print materials to engage, nurture, and convert prospects.Hands-on involvement in the design and development of all print and electronic marketing materials.Directly oversee all digital communication strategies and tactics including multi-channel social media, email campaigns and other forms of electronic communications/digital interactions.Direct involvement with product definition and service delivery quality standards to meet customer needs.Leverage resources and talent to optimize integrated marketing and nurture campaigns.Manage third party relationships related to marketing tools and campaigns as needed.Establish market leadership in security solutions through thought leadership, public and social media, events, industry associations, and the cultivation of client spokespeople and communities.Effectively communicate with leadership team on projects goals and progress.Define metrics to measure meaningful progress against goals and report these.Perform other duties/tasks as requested by management.
Assist with sales activities:
Participate in sales calls or presentations as neededAttend conferences as appropriateOther sales support duties as requestedQualifications
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
The Marketing Director must have sufficient service delivery knowledge and experience to coordinate customer project activities.
* Minimum acceptable education requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business, or the equivalent, and/or 10 years' experience in a Marketing Management and/or Project Management capacity, including 5 years' multimedia development experience.
* Minimum acceptable work experience requirements:
* Strong familiarity with marketing and multimedia development.
* Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential, with demonstrated experience in personnel management.
* Direct experience with higher education electronic commerce a plus.
* Experience in working with payment card industry / security requirements a plus.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
* Driven and resourceful. Ability to take calculated risk, solve problems on your own, and make decisions.
* Solid market analysis background.
* Turn conversation and thoughts into action and drive to the end goal.
* Ability to work unsupervised in a home office setting.
* Maintain integrity and honesty, while being persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
* Willing to travel up to 20% of the time.Competencies:

* F- Able to work within Adobe Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign), Drupal, and/or equivalent content management systems, marketing automation tools and techniques.
