We are looking for a passionate generalist IT legend to join our team, one of Australia’s leading and growing children and adult talent agencies. More about us below!
A healthy wage is on offer and we are open to part time or freelance remote working, with flexible work hours available upon discussion. You will report directly into the Managing Director & work with a small global team.
Your key focus for this role will include:
Planning and setting a direction for how technology will be used in our business.
Validating whether our current technology is performing well and in alignment with our business goals. This will involve running point on assessing our current tech solutions and whether they are the right technological resources for both our short and long-term purposes.
Maintaining essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
Serving as the subject matter expert supporting MAC OSX, Windows, and all common office software and applications, such as Microsoft, Adobe and G-Suite products
Keeping track of technology trends and identifying what technologies we can use and how
Ensure risk assessment is made around any chosen technology
Lead and manage our tech projects end to end and help our project teams meet the agreed delivery timelines
Manage technology budgets and timelines.
Who are we looking for?
You are seriously passionate about tech, staying up to date with new trends and learning new systems and programs!

You're a thinker, not afraid to present new ideas, take ownership on something and see it through to the end
You take pride in the work you do, are extremely organised and have an exceptional attention to detail.
You take the time to understand our business in detail, and working closely with our various teams (including our sales team) to understand their needs, identify vulnerabilities, boost efficiency and accuracy to ensure consumer-centric tech decisions are made.
Ideally you will have:
Degree in IT, computer science or related field.
At least a few years of work experience in a similar role
Familiar with using Active Campaign, CRMs, Zapier, Wordpress, APIs
Great team and project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work flexibly and collaborate well with remote teams and clients across various locations and cultures.
Experience with or knowledge of operating systems; current equipment and technologies, backup and recovery procedures, and system performance-monitoring tools
Advanced computer skills across Windows and MAC
Ability to keep company information confidential
Web development skills are advantageous
