Job Description
Sales Schema is on the hunt for a Business Development Representative to help us conquer the world, or at least our niche. Leading our new business expeditions, you will be nurtured and supported as a salesperson in a way that I (the Founder and CEO) wish I enjoyed. We will build you into an ass-kicking, name-taking full-stack salesperson. The right candidate will go on to influence management and strategy, giving direction to campaigns and new initiatives. All while learning a lot and growing with the company.
This is a predominantly remote role with significant responsibility for growing our business. If you are the right fit and a solid performer, you will have limitless growth potential.
Examples of responsibilities.
The position will be around 80% sales and 20% account management/fulfillment.
- Contact prospects based on resources we provide (like email campaign data)
- Conduct qualifying calls to make sure leads are the right fit
- Conduct proposal calls and follow up to close business
- Set appointments between prospects and CEO
- Onboarding new clients
- Account management: delivering the service to clients and exceeding expectations
- Contacting warm leads to book appointments for clients.
- Managing outsourced employees and partners
- Keep records in our CRM

Compensation and details
This is a remote position offering $1,000/month stipend + $1,000/month advance on commission. This will start as a part-time (20-hour per week) freelance/1099 position, but the right candidate should expect to transition to full-time employee status.
This is NOT a “go hit the streets”-type sales role. We will provide you with consistent warm leads and support.
From nearly five years of historic data, here is a realistic forecast of the earning potential:
- An average candidate will make $72,000 per year
- A good candidate will make $112,000 per year
- An excellent candidate will make $162,000-212,000 per year

What worked for them yesterday is not working today, and that's where we come in. At the moment, we're sprinting to keep up with demand from the 13,000 agencies competing for market share in the global economy.
