We empower hundreds of digitally-focused companies to deliver outcomes and exceptional campaign performance everyday. StackAdapt was founded with a vision to be more than an advertising platform, it’s a hub of innovation, imagination and creativity.
As a Product Analytics Engineer at StackAdapt, you will build innovative product analytics solutions that help the product team deliver best in class products to StackAdapt's customers by driving pre-build and post-launch analytics initiatives. You’ll work collaboratively with Product Management and Engineering to launch and iterate on these solutions for our internal users. Here on the Product Analytics team, we are truly passionate about being the purveyors of quantitative data and metrics that can be used to improve StackAdapt's product offering.
We are looking for someone who has experience building analytics workflows for internal users and is comfortable communicating with a wide range of stakeholders on the generated insights. The ideal candidate worked closely with product owners and designers throughout the product development lifecycle in the past.
StackAdapt is a remote-first company, we are open to candidates located anywhere in Canada for this position.
What you'll be doing:
Research, understand stakeholder needs and translate them into analytics requirements
Support various product pillars during pre-build initiatives by providing guidance on KPI definitions and telemetry requirements
Build analytics pipelines and visualization solutions to track feature ‘health’ after product releases
Maintain and iteratively improve on analytics pipelines that support our core functions
Communicate analysis results with stakeholders (PMs, Designers, Leadership, etc.)
Contribute to improving the tooling and infrastructure on the product analytics team
Become an expert in ad-tech and programmatic media buying; understanding the competitive landscape, the evolving market needs, and how those things relate to StackAdapt's product offering
What you’ll bring to the table:
Track record of supplying analytics solutions for existing teams, with the ability to take open-ended goals and scope them into defined and impactful objectives (and can speak to their successes)
Demonstrated ability in a similar role analyzing large-scale data, using both SQL and Python, in a professional setting
You have experience in shell scripting(CLI) and version control(git)
Basic knowledge of AWS or other equivalent cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, etc.)
Experience with data warehousing technologies like Snowflake
Familiarity with product analytics tools like Pendo or FullStory (engagement analytics) and Business Intelligence tools (ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) would be a bonus
Your communication is crisp, clear, and effective whether written or verbal - and you always know your audience
